1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the lemunli platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. For material changes, we will notify users by email within a reasonable timeframe. Continued use of lemunli after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with updated Terms, your option is to cancel your subscription.

Material changes that trigger email notification include:

• Changes to subscription pricing
• Changes to the refund or cancellation policy
• Changes to how your personal data is collected, used, or shared
• Changes to the governing law or dispute resolution process
• Termination or significant restriction of core platform features

Changes that do not trigger email notification include:

• Clarifications or rewording that do not alter the meaning of existing clauses
• Addition of new optional features or subscription tiers
• Corrections of typographical or grammatical errors
• Minor updates to contact information
• Changes required by law that do not materially affect your rights

Upon first registration, you will receive a copy of these Terms and Conditions by email. Subsequent re-subscriptions using the same account will not trigger a new copy unless a material change has occurred since your last agreement.

3. Description of Service

lemunli is a subscription-based culinary content platform providing users access to exclusive recipe books created by professional chefs and experienced cooks. Recipe content is contributed by independent chefs and culinary contributors. While we take reasonable steps to ensure quality, lemunli does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of any recipe, including ingredients, techniques, or results. Content is updated periodically, with new recipe books published every two months. All content is available exclusively through the platform.

lemunli is currently offered in English and French only. Additional languages may be introduced in future versions of the platform. Customer support and all communications from lemunli (including email correspondence, account notifications, and support inquiries) are provided in English or French only. The availability of platform content in additional languages in the future does not extend to customer support, which will continue to be provided exclusively in English or French unless otherwise stated.

4. Subscription and Billing

The standard Basic plan is billed monthly at CAD $7.99, USD $7.99, GBP £5.99, or EUR €6.99, depending on your credit card's billing country, not your physical location. If your billing country does not correspond to one of the currencies above, you will be billed in USD. Payments are processed through Stripe's Managed Payments service, under which Stripe (or its applicable affiliate) acts as the merchant of record and is responsible for applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar indirect taxes, calculated and included automatically where applicable.

Founding Member offer: The first 500 subscribers are eligible for a special locked-in annual rate of CAD $45, USD $45, GBP £30, or EUR €35 per year, determined by your credit card's billing country using the same currency logic described above. This rate is locked in for as long as the subscriber's subscription remains active and uninterrupted, and includes access to future upgrades to the Basic plan. If a subscriber cancels and later resubscribes, the rate applicable at that time will apply.

New members joining after the first 500 founding spots are filled will pay the regular Basic plan monthly price described above.

Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Upon cancellation, you retain full access to the platform until the end of your current billing period.
• All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused subscription time.

6. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information at registration.
• By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
• One account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on lemunli — including recipes, images, videos, written content, branding, logos, and platform design — is the exclusive property of Lemunli Inc. or its content partners and is protected by applicable Canadian and international intellectual property laws. No content may be reproduced, copied, distributed, published, transmitted, modified, or shared in any form without the prior written permission of Lemunli Inc. Unauthorized use of lemunli content may result in account termination and legal action. Access to content through a lemunli subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to view content solely for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Reproduce or redistribute content outside the platform
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise platform security

9. Limitation of Liability

lemunli is provided "as is." We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted access or the absence of errors. The platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lemunli Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

Informational Purposes Only: All nutritional information, allergen indicators, ingredient properties (including but not limited to spiciness level, dietary classifications, seasonal availability, and similar descriptive attributes), and pricing estimates provided on lemunli are for general informational purposes only. This information is derived from standard databases, typical ingredient properties, and reasonable estimations, and may not reflect the exact composition, preparation, or characteristics of the specific ingredients or products you use. lemunli makes no guarantees as to the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of this information. Users with food allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, or specific dietary requirements should independently verify all ingredient and nutritional information — including checking product labels and consulting a qualified healthcare professional, dietitian, or allergist — before consuming any recipe or relying on this information for health-related decisions. Lemunli is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.

Nutritional Information: Any nutritional information provided on lemunli is for general informational purposes only and should not be treated as medical or dietary advice. Values are estimates and may vary based on ingredients, preparation methods, and portion sizes. Users should consult a qualified nutritionist or healthcare professional for precise nutritional guidance.

Price Estimates: Any recipe price estimates displayed on lemunli — whether shown as price per serving or total price for a given serving size — are provided in Canadian dollars (CAD), US dollars (USD), British pounds (GBP), or euros (EUR), based on your currency selection, with more countries coming soon. Prices reflect ingredient costs only and do not include tools, equipment, or other non-ingredient costs. Prices vary by region, retailer, and season and should not be taken as literal or guaranteed costs. Users should consult their local stores for accurate pricing.

You acknowledge and agree that any decisions made based on nutritional, allergen, ingredient property, or price information provided through the platform are made at your own discretion and risk. Lemunli Inc. accepts no liability for any adverse reaction, health issue, loss, or damages resulting from reliance on this information.

10. Privacy

Your use of lemunli is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We comply with applicable Canadian privacy laws including Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

For users located in the United States, including residents of California, we acknowledge that you may have additional rights regarding your personal data under applicable state laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To exercise any such rights, contact us at legal@lemunli.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of lemunli, we encourage you to contact us first at legal@lemunli.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration before proceeding to litigation. Arbitration shall be conducted in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in the language of the user's choice (English or French), under the arbitration rules of a mutually agreed upon arbitration body.

Nothing in this clause prevents Lemunli Inc. from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

By using lemunli, all users — including those located in the United States — irrevocably agree that any legal proceedings not resolved through arbitration shall be brought exclusively before the courts of the Province of Quebec, Canada. You waive any objection to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to the venue of such proceedings.

Lemunli Inc. makes no representation that the platform or its content is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions. Users who access the platform from outside Canada do so at their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with their local laws to the extent applicable.
